Screen Time Checkup is a productivity app that helps you stay aware of how you spend your time. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your data.
Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data. All information you enter into the app, including:
- Activity tags (focus activities and distractions)
- Check-in logs (what you're doing, what you should be doing, importance scores)
- App settings and preferences
is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any servers.
Permissions
The app requests the following permissions:
- Notifications: To send periodic check-in reminders. You can disable these in your device settings at any time.
- Exact Alarms: To schedule check-in reminders at precise intervals.
These permissions are used solely for the app's core functionality and not for tracking or advertising purposes.
Data Storage
On Android, data is stored in the app's private storage directory. On the web, data is stored in your browser's local storage. You can export your data as a JSON backup file and import it on another device if desired.
Third-Party Services
This app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no SDKs that collect or transmit your data.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time using the "Clear Logs" and "Reset Tags" options in the app's Data Management section. Uninstalling the app will also remove all locally stored data.
Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app is a general productivity tool suitable for all ages.
